Friday April 25th 2008 - POPTASTIC @ NG1
THE BIG ONE! Poptastic is back! This is the big night out we have each month. Campus meet with Sami on the Portland Building steps at 20:30 and town meet with Robbie at the Left Lion in Old Market Square at 21:00. We are going to head to Pit and Pedulum for a drink and then straight over to NG1. This should be a really good event as it is LGBT Summer Conference this weekend so there should be LOADS of people out and about in Notts.
Tuesday April 29th 2008 - Film Night
After the weekend we thought we would have a nice quiet event. Meet us at the Activities Room (B Floor, Portland Building - opposite student service) at 19:30 for a good old gossip and to watch a film. After, we shall head down to Mooch for a couple of drinks.

Saturday May 3rd 2008 – Manchester Trip
After the success for the Birmingham night out we are going to take all you lovely LGBTers to Manchester for the night. Due to us requiring a mini bus to get you all to Manchester, there is a limitted number of people we can take. Due to this, we will be offering places on a first come first serve basis unfortunately. Tickets for this night are now on sale and can be purchased from the SU Box Office in the Portland Building on University Park for £12.50. We will also be selling them at Poptasic on the 25th May!
We plan to party in style in one of the countries leading cities for night life. After a good old bar craw along the (potentially) world famous Cannal Street, we will end up in a club to carry on the party until the early hours of the morning. Birmingham was good but we want to make Manchester AMAZING!
UPDATE!! The bus is leaving the Portland Building at 19:00 and we'll be back in Nottingham for around 04:00 (or there abouts!)
MISS PRINT ON TICKETS!!! The tickets have the date of the Manchester trip as the 8th May - THIS IS WRONG! We are going to Manchester on the 3rd May!! Sorry about this guys. There are posters up around campus with the correct date on them.
Date TBC – LGBT Meal
As you are all busy will exams during May/June/July, we are going to have a quietish event in the city to help releive some of your exam stresses. We are going to head to a restraunt in the city centre for some food and a few drinks. Apologies for the lack of info on this event. Check back again soon for further info.
We know that this term you will all be hard at work revising (*cough*) and doing your exams. The LGBT has tried to take this into consideration when planning the events for this term. We hope to see as many of you as possable out and about with us over the summer term.
